Bluebeam Certified Instructor
Bluebeam Certified Instructors have demonstrated their mastery in Revu and are equipped to train others as a Bluebeam expert.
The Bluebeam Certified Instructor (BCI) program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to teach and train others in using Bluebeam software. The program consists of a comprehensive training course that covers the best practices for teaching Bluebeam Revu to any audience, as well as teaching strategies and techniques.
To become a BCI, you will need to:
- Pass the Bluebeam Certified Professional exam
- Attend all four days of live online training
- Complete and pass a final teach-back that is graded by your Bluebeam trainer
The final exam is timed and is comprised of a 20-minute teach-back that tests your proficiency in using the software and your ability to effectively communicate and engage with your students.
Upon passing the exam, you will earn the status of Bluebeam Certified Instructor, which is a valuable credential that can help you stand out in the industry as a qualified and experienced trainer in Bluebeam software. You will also receive a certificate and a digital badge that you can use to demonstrate your expertise to your clients and colleagues. This badge is sharable on Linkedin and other social media platforms via Credly, our badging partner.
As a BCI, you will have access to a range of resources and support to help you enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices for using Bluebeam software. We have new and improved Revu Essentials training materials, including a PowerPoint, Student Guide, and Facilitator Guide that will help you conduct your Revu Essentials trainings with ease. Additionally, you will be eligible to teach Bluebeam Certified Training (BCT) courses and receive leads from our team via an online portal.
Lastly, Bluebeam Certified Instructors (BCIs) are required to maintain their certification through recertification every three years to ensure that they are up-to-date with the latest features, updates, and best practices for using and training Bluebeam software. Recertification requires BCIs to pass the BCP exam and submit a 15-minute video of themselves teaching Revu to a class, which is evaluated against a rubric. BCIs who successfully complete the recertification requirements will maintain their BCI status and continue to have access to the latest training resources, leads, and support from the Bluebeam community. The recertification process is designed to ensure that BCIs are providing the best possible training to their students and clients and are meeting the high standards set by the Bluebeam.
